How Roz won the Championship in 2008

Roz entered NNF1 '08 with very little F1 knowledge...
She probably finished the year with not that much more than she originally started with but she defeated years and years of F1 armchair know how along the way. How did she do it? The answer lies in Sebastian Vettel.

Vettel's STR team only finished 2007 with 8 points and so came into 2008 only rated 13th in the NNF1 Component values and even dropped down to as low as 19th (out of 20) by round 6. It seemed a poor choice. But STR's collaboration with sister team Red Bull and a powerful Ferrari engine started bearing fruit even winning the rain soaked Italian Grand Prix. and climbing back up the NNF1 chart to finish 12th.

Trulli also low on the NNF1 charts (15th) at the beginning of the year made good progress throughout the season to finish 8th, even better than Vettel. Of course these two were very cheap at the beginning of the year and it didn't look good for them at all but this allowed Roz to buy Hamilton and a Mercedes engine to boot. Roz spent $55million in March of '08 and by November '08 her team was worth $72million.
