Brawn GP and McLaren's form in testing at Barcelona have gone and thrown the form book out the window so it's time to reevaluate who looks like doing the business in Melbourne.
I think despite Brawn's obvious pace, Ferrari and BMW are still the favorites for me in Melbourne. However even if Brawn have been playing around with weights and fuel loads etc they are still fast and could be a factor. Perhaps even more surprising than Brawn's fast pace is McLaren's lack of pace at Barcelona. They (oh yes, "they"...) say that if you are quick at Barca then you should be quick everywhere.
Toyota also look solid, Red Bull have some pace up their sleeve but dropped off a bit, hard to gauge, Renault have topped the time sheets on occasion, Williams have been in the fray. It seems at this stage Force India and STR will be backing up the field (with McLaren, ha, ha, ha ,hee, hee!). No really it's inconceivable that McLaren have got their sums so wrong specially with their budget, resources and experience.
